He served 35 years at the Township Officials of Illinois, including 25 years as Executive Director/CEO, and 18 years as an elected member of the Macon County Board. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Millikin University.

County Clerk Candidate Bryan Smith attended and had a booth at the 37th Annual Seniorama held on June 18th at the Decatur Civic Center. Hundreds of Seniors attended the event to meet with vendors and those interested in senior services. Smith met with hundreds of seniors and passed out campaign swag to those who stopped by his booth.
