Bryan E. Smith

for Macon County Clerk

“Macon County residents deserve fair, friendly, and professional services. With decades of experience in local, county, and state government, I am running to restore the lost confidence in governing with integrity that demands the highest standards of excellence.”

“Taxpayers deserve professionalism – not politics.”

Macon County taxpayers deserve professionalism at every level of government: professionalism that guarantees effective and efficient government services.

I have spent my entire career training local government officials to follow the law. Following the law with integrity and attention to detail will deliver the services the hard-working taxpayers of this county deserve.

My motto as Macon County Clerk, “If you follow the law, integrity follows.”

The County Clerk’s Office administers Elections, Vital Records (Births, Deaths and Marriages). Tax Extensions, Tax Redemptions and serves as Clerk to the Macon County Board and keeper of County records.

There is no Republican or Democratic way to issue birth, death or marriage certificates. There is no Republican or Democratic way to run fair and accessible elections. The responsibilities of the office are defined by integrity. The hard-working taxpayers of this county deserve the best.

I am running to ensure that Macon County residents receive fair, friendly and professional services. At a time when many lost trust in our elections, I am running to restore that lost confidence by governing with integrity that demands the highest standards of excellence.
