Statewide and local Officials packed the Hostetler July 21 to help Bryan Smith celebrate his birthday.

Smith,  candidate for Macon County Clerk, hosted Bryan’s Birthday Bash as a campaign fundraiser. Highlighting guest speakers was Deputy Governor and former State Senator Andy Manar of the 48th District.

Manar said that he is confident Smith will make the right choices if elected county clerk, and not waver when faced with right or wrong.

“In this era  when election security is an issue, Bryan’s integrity and honesty are crucial,” Manar said. He also commended Macon County Board candidates for running for office,

“To say we have important races on the ballot would be an understatement,” Manar said. He thanked former State Representative. John Dunn, who was in attendance, and the people of the 48th District who have helped him.

Manar said there is no harder-working state senator than Doris Turner, also in attendance, and thanked Decatur Mayor Julie Moore-Wolfe for working so well with the Governor’s office.

Also in attendance were Macon County Board member Stephanie King, soon-to-be board member Dr. Bruno Mannarelli, and board candidates AJ Hines, Kasey Holt and Michelle Wayne.

Smith thanked his family for attending and for their support, his daughters Kayleigh and Kelcie, and his mother, Wanda.
