Bryan E. Smith is a lifelong Macon County, Illinois resident and candidate for Macon County Clerk. He began his public service career at age 19 when he was elected Long Creek Township Clerk in 1985 — the youngest elected township official in Illinois at the time. He served 35 years at the Township Officials of Illinois, including 25 years as Executive Director/CEO, and 18 years as an elected member of the Macon County Board. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Millikin University.

Smith Participates in Blue Mound Fall Festival Parade - Bryan Smith for Macon County Clerk

County Clerk candidate Bryan Smith participated in the Blue Mound Fall Festival parade on Saturday, August 1. Several precinct committeepersons and volunteers came out to walk and ride and give out candy and carry signs. Macon County Board Candidate District 5, Michelle Wayne also walked and participated. There were a few sprinkles before the parade but once it started it stopped and got very warm. But it was great seeing so many smiling faces on the streets of Blue Mound. Congratulations Blue Mound on a GREAT Fall Festival!
